I am obsessed with skincare. Ever since I was like 11 my skin has been crap. Although my aggressive acne has finally settled down, I am still dealing with texture, redness, and the occasional breakout (by occasional I mean one every day, but it's fine). I am constantly looking for new products to enhance my life in some way because better skin = enhanced life, for some reason lol. Anyways, the point of this post is a BRAND/PRODUCT REVIEW! I love product reviews - I love reading them and I love writing them. My L'Oreal Lash Paradise review is my most popular post of all time, so I hope y'all are excited about this one!

Before writing this and trying out Kylie Skin, I didn't want to read anything else about the products. Basically, the only things I have seen are tweets about the products and girls freaking tf out, which is completely understandable. I am a fan of Kylie's lipsticks, big fan, they truly do stay on all day and the colors are bomb - Candy K & Posie K are my fav, you neeeeed. Inevitably, I had to try out Kylie Skin. For a while, I really wanted to get the full kit, but just could not commit. So, I opted for the face wash and the eye cream, mostly because those were major holes in my skincare routine right now.

Kylie Skin is restocking tomorrow, July 22nd, at 9am PST! If you decide you want to try anything, I would do it then because you never know when the next restock will be.

I am going to dive into the specifics, just like The Skinny Confidential says all the time, we need the specifics in order to know what's good and what's not! But first, the PACKAGING. Kylie has such an amazing eye for product design, obviously, every product is beautiful, but more importantly, these feel so good to hold. Not gonna lie, the packaging was a huge selling point, but let's get into it the products themselves! ✧

 ✧ Face Wash

  • PROS
    • Foamy as can be - Basically meaning it lathers up nicely and a little can go a long way, plus foam face washes are just oh so satisfying. This foam is nice because it does not dry out your skin, it's truly magic.
    • Super gentle on the skin - I have extremely sensitive skin, and always want my cleansers to be gentle and smooth, with no harsh smells. This feels so luxurious on the face and there is no way to be too rough with it!
    • Deep cleans - This stuff removes your makeup. Literally almost all your makeup from just washing your face. It is truly impressive, but I am a big fan of double cleansing - so once to remove my makeup, then another time to really make sure my skin is clean. If I am not wearing makeup, washing once is 100% fine.
    • Clears your skin - Y'all... like I mentioned before I have very troubled skin, we aren't too sure what traumatic life event happened to cause her to go downhill at such a young age but we are working on it, and this face wash is helping. I don't know how, but it has smoothed my skin and reduced my blackheads and active breakouts while controlling redness!
  • CONS
    • Price - Some could say this is a pricier face wash, but it is still cheaper than a lot of others I have used in the past, completely personal preference on how much you are willing to spend on a face wash!
    • Amount in the bottle - Since it is a foaming product, it can be difficult to gauge how much you really need. I have found if I am just washing my face, 1 pump is plenty, but if I am taking my makeup off I usually do 2! I would figure out how much works for your face and try to stick to that so you don't waste any product.
    • Availability - We all know Kylie products are coveted and not the easiest to get your hands on. I would grab one to try it out, then repurchase once you know there is another release! That is what I will be doing when she restocks next. So, unfortunately, if you run out before there is a restock you will be out of luck.
This face wash is making me a lot more confident and just overall pleased with my skin. I am beyond impressed with it, and if you are in the market for a new cleanser, definitely try to get your hands on the Kylie one. I think it would be great for all skin types - I am combo, more oily than dry, and it has done wonders for my skin. It is gentle and deep cleaning, all without stripping the skin. I highly recommend if you are in the market for a new face wash! This is something I would repurchase!

Eye Cream

  • PROS
    • Hydrating - This stuff is thick but in a good way. Instantly when it goes on I can feel it hydrating my skin. I also notice how bouncy and moisturized my eyes are during the day, which is a big plus that it is ongoing hydration!
    • Application - It is super creamy and goes on the skin beautifully. I love the way the little tip feels on the eye, but can tug at times, so completely up to you how you want to apply this product! Your ring finger is always a good bet.
    • Erases Dark Circles - No, it seriously works. When I put this on, I can see a noticeable difference in the darkness and puffiness of my eyes! I don't use it every day, out of laziness for my entire skincare routine to be honest, but when I do use it consistently I can see the changes in my eyes even when I do not use it.
    • Price - If you are not familiar with eye creams, those bad boys are pricey. All for good reason usually, but for only $20 and quick results, Kylie's is a steal!
  • CONS
    • Consistency - Although this product is creamy, I wouldn't say it is quite smooth. I find that if you rub it too much, it can clump up under your eye, and sometimes just clumps throughout the day when if I am rubbing my eyes.
      • Also due to this clumpiness, I find it does not sit the best underneath my makeup.
    • Burns My Eyes - So, when I first started using this I would use way too much and push it right under my lashline, and oh my gosh it burned like crazy. It would go away but it was very unpleasant. I found that once I started applying a little further away from my actual eye it was fine, but this is something to be super cautious and specific about when applying!
It is so important to be moisturizing your under eyes because the skin is way more delicate than the rest of your face, so give it extra attention! I believe this eye cream is fantastic especially for its price. I do have sensitive skin and eyes, which is why it could cause burning for me personally, so keep that in mind, but just be careful when applying. I really am happy with my purchase of this eye cream, but I don't know if I would repurchase it because I have not tried out that many and want to see what else is out there, but the results have me ecstatic about the product!

There you have it, y'all! I hope this detailed post helped you figure out if you wanted to purchase anything from the line. If you are looking for a new face wash or eye cream definitely look into the Kylie Skin products! Remember: everything restocks tomorrow, July 22nd at 9am PST! Now is the time to grab something you have your eye on. The moisturizer and toner are on my eye currently, plus the new body line looks so lush. Let me know if you have anything or are planning on purchasing anything from her! As always, thanks for reading.
